Update: Zomato has expanded its food delivery services to Dehradun, Agra, Patna, Mysore, Ranchi, Raipur, and Aurangabad. The company said that it will further expand the service to cities within this month.
With this expansion, Zomato’s food delivery services now available in 28 cities in India – Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Kochi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Indore, Coimbatore, Vadodara, Nagpur, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Surat, Vizag, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Agra, Patna, Mysore, Ranchi, Raipur, and Aurangabad.
The food delivery service is currently all seven days a week from 11 am to 11 pm, and will soon deliver breakfast and late night meals as well, Zomato said in a statement.
Earlier on 12th July: Zomato has announced the expansion its online ordering and food delivery services to Surat, Vizag, Bhopal and Bhubaneswar. With the launch of services in these four cities Zomato’s online ordering services are now spread out across 21 cities in India, including – Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Kochi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Indore, Coimbatore, Vadodara, Nagpur, Lucknow, and Ludhiana.
Zomato has partnered with 500 restaurants across these four cities. The new appointed CEO of Zomato’s food delivery business said that growth in tier 2 and tier 3 cities have been really encouraging for the company. He said that the company recently launched in 4 new cities, and Vizag clocked over 1000 orders in under 10 days since the launch.
Zomato’s food delivery highlights
It recently launched a loyalty reward points program called Piggybank for ordering food via the platform. Every time you order food online on Zomato, 10% of your order value will be credited back as Z Coins into your Zomato Piggybank. Using these points, you can pay 10% of the value of the next order. You even earn Z Coins in your Piggybank when you use Piggybank coins in a particular order. ( 1 Z coin = Re 1).
