OYO Rooms has further expanded its international presence with the launch of operations in London, a report by Entrackr said. The homegrown hotel aggregator has been offering bookings in Sussex Gardens, Paddington, London, according to the report. Entrackr claims that the hotel, an Oyo Townhouse property, will be priced in the range of Rs 6,500 to 8,000. However, neither OYO’s website nor its mobile application have listed any property in London. Medianama reached out to OYO for a comment but hasn’t received any reply at the time of publishing.
In June, media reports claimed that the SoftBank backed company had expressed its aspirations to expand into Europe (starting with London) and other Asian territories. With the lunch of its operations in London, OYO will now have a presence in six markets outside India.
