Affle Partners India Today Group For Rich Media Inventory On Web & Mobile Properties

Mobile messaging and advertising company, Affle, has inked an exclusive partnership with the India Today Group to power all video and rich media advertising for the India Today Group properties, through Affle’s recently launched rich media and video ad network, Ripple.

Following the partnership, the India Today Group would employ Affle’s Ripple ad network to serve all video ads on its online properties and to serve video and rich media ads across India Today Group’s properties on the iPad/other Tablet platforms. The partnership comes close to Affle’s announcement of similar partnerships with Yahoo! & ESPN Cricinfo for rich media and mobile advertising in the Indian market.

India Today Group’s digital division repurposes content from its news magazine, India Today; news channels – Aaj Tak, Headlines Today, business magazine- Business Today, and Indian editions of the international brands like Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Good Housekeeping, Travel Plus and Men’s Health.

Affle claims that over 5 billion monthly ad requests are being delivered on publisher sites and applications through Ripple. It also claims that the average engagement rates on Ripple were over two times of that of regular display campaigns. Anuj Kumar, Co-founder & CEO Affle, informed that in the recent months advertisers such as Samsung, Nokia, Google, Microsoft, Maruti Suzuki, Adidas, Coca Cola, Hyundai have partnered with the company for ad delivery via its products, including Ripple.

Singapore headquartered Affle group, had launched its ad technology platform, Ripple, a rich media and video advertising network, offering advertising solutions across all smart screens including PC, Mobile, Tablet and smart TVs, in August 2012.
